Not a babe anymore!

It seems to me around this time of year everyone is calling Jesus a babe. I know that we are rejoicing over His birth. Don't get me wrong without His birth there would be no crusifiction and without this there would no salvation. Without this there would be no hope for me and you. But He is not a babe. He died a man rose as God and is sitting at the right hand tof the Father.  I SAY AMEN AND GLORY  To THE KING!!!
    So just wanted to remind us He was 100% man and 100% God. He come as a babe, died as a man, is alive and always has been God!!! It came the birth, the ministry, the death, bury and Resurrection. One as important as the other. Thank God He didn't stay a babe! I'm glad to know Him as my Saviour! I hope and my pray you do to. God Bless and have a Merry Christmas.

Love or Fear

      I wonder just how much we love God. You know we should serve Him out of love. He loved us so much that He went all the way for us.
      I wonder how much we fear Him. You know we should serve Him out of fear. Fear as in what would happen if He left us to ourselves.
      He didn't leave us to ourselves in love or in fear or we would be in hell or on our way. We ought to go to church out of love for Him. We ought to serve Him out of love.
     If we can't serve Him out out of love or go to church. We ought to out of fear. God said fear Him for he is a jealous God. That means we live for Him and no other.
     This is a big problem in so called Christians today no love, but NO FEAR. No fear no God, Know God know fear.
     Love Him, Fear Him, live for Him !For He is Thee True and Thee Only Living God!!!  
After all He saved your soul so you don't have to go to a devils hell! AMEN and AMEN!!!

It's A Shame

      We live in a time where nobody does any wrong, Every thing is ok. They call good evil and evil good. Jeremiah speaks of these accounts in Jerusalem. He said in 6:15 Were they ashamed when they committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither did they blush: Nakedness all around us perverseness and  nobody seems to let it bother us. Even among our churches and even in preachers today.
       At then of 6:15 he said therefore they shall fall among them that fall: at the time that I visit them they shall be cast down, saith the LORD,. Judgment is coming whither we believe it or not! In verse 16 the bible says Thus  saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, we will not walk therein. Oh my that is were we are at today. people saying they want the Lord and actions show different. The are some that say i will not walk therein, just like in Jeremiahs day. Us as believers need to ask for the old way and stop letting every thing go. It's time to ask and walk in them!!! Not to wait around on them, but ask and walk.
         Here comes the kicker verse 17 also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken. Pastors and preachers all over the world are sounding the trumpet warning people and they will not hearken to call of the Lord. This is believers and non believers. Want to go their way and not Gods. This world is winding  down and we did to take heed. What a shame!!!  
      

Misunderstood

   We have misunderstanding of God I do believe. We thank we can go on and live life the way we want after we are born again, but not so. If we are saved we are no longer our own, but we are Christ's. We now belong to Him! Israel thought they could serve God  and when they want to at any time they would serve themselves. God pored judgment on them when they would not repent and turn from their wicked ways. God said if my people who are called by my name, would shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and heal their land.
    He will not force us to do any thing, it has to be us that turns. There is consequences to doing things against God. We don't have to live by laws, but by grace and that is why we need to repent. Serve Him with all our might and all our strength and all our heart. He went all the way for us we need to go all the way for Him. Seek His face and His heart. To many people are dying and going to a devils hell because of loose living of the saints of God.
   Have fun in life, enjoy what God has done for you and has giving you, but be mindful on how you are serving the Lord. He is the reason you can laugh and have fun in this old wicked world. We don't have to be a stick in the mud. Serve Him, love Him and when, (don't if cause we will) we miss up and sin repent and turn to Him. He is our life so live it to the fullest for Jesus.

God is in control

      Sometimes God gives you the ability to help some one, but other times it has to be all Him.
We have to have decrement when to press on with some one or when to back off. God is in control and we got to know when to say it's yours God. You'll find out it will work out a whole lot better when you let Him be in charge!

We Have To Have It

    For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.
Proverbs 8:11. This is something that God commands we have. This is not the wisdom of the world.The world can't give this kind of wisdom. This wisdom is Godly wisdom and we need it the most. We can get this from a godly person that has spent time with God and His word. It does not matter about the age of the person, its godly maturity. How much growth they have. Older should be wiser, but I'm learning that's not so. Your would think an older a person is or is in the Lord they are wiser, but sadly not so.
    The best way to get wisdom is from God Himself! The Word of God is living and breathing with wisdom from on high. This is what we need to get through this present world we live in. The worlds wisdom can get us no father than the world. Godly wisdom the wisdom from the Word of god can get us to heavenly things. First wisdom of salvation, then wisdom in living for Him and how to do it. Than after salvation we can talk right to Him. Proverbs is full of wisdom and warnings about live. It tells about the traps of this world and satan.
     So talk to God read His word and let His wisdom flow through you. Truth is wisdom and wisdom is the Word of God. Why people are not wise they forsake the truth. That is they forsake God and His Word. We grow in God through the truth, which is His word. Wisdom, WE HAVE TO HAVE IT!!!

Mission

    A lot of people even church goers get missions and ministry mixed up. With all these ministries that are around today I'm not sure if I know. Lets see if we can help here. A ministry is when you help people,(that's where the word minister comes from) taking food, clothes, money, you get the point. This is the part of helping the sick and those who are hurting. A mission is to the armed forces, they have a target in mind. The same for us! The bible tells us to go and spread the gospel, that is the good news of the Lord Jesus Christ. That's what a missionary does and what we are commissioned to do. We can't all pastor are go over seas, so we send these to go for us. Yes they minister too, but when you don't give them the gospel your don't being a missionary. The sick Jesus was talking about is the lost. Yes He healed and gave food, His goal was to give spiritual healing and food. His death, bury, and resurrection was what He came for. This is the Gospel.
    Did you know that your pastor is your primary missionary to take care of. He is the one that gives you the gospel. He tries to lead you spiritual, ministers to you in hard times. I had some say I don't know about that? Well we send people all over the world and forget about home. God said with out a sheperd the sheep will go a stray. there is a lot more to it then meets the eye. A pastor is an under sheperd to the Lord Jesus Christ, a sheperd to the local church. I know most churches want a preacher, but do they want a pastor? A missionary to lead them, a sheperd? We better or we will go a stray!!! I hope this helps shed some light on the subject. Press on

I love that song we sing in church, Press on it want be very long, not long.... Man I can't wait until I'm in that land of milk and honey with my Lord and Savior. We may get weak a weary here, but we have to press on! There are people out there that need to hear the gospel. People like us that get tried and weary in this wicked world, that need some encouragement from the brethren.This old world will beat you down enough, so lets keep focus on the cause and start enjoying the journey. We have an awesome God and we can't let Him down, because He never lets us down. So press on it want be very long, before we reach that land of song.

Pastors point of view

I here a lot of peoples point of view of what a pastor should do and be. I know what my job as a servant to the church is and to the Lord. People think if your not burning the roads up or laying at the hospitals your not doing your job. (Well I fell to do like I should sometimes). The most important and Biblical thing is to prepared to feed the sheep. This is not something that happens over night. It takes pray, study, meditation and more pray. I'm there when they need me and try to visit. We have change the deacons role to the pastors. It's also the church bodies role to go. It's a hard balancing act, but we do it as pastors. I have to have time to study and in the book of Acts tells us these things.
            Well the pastor doesn't work so he can go. Listen we all need to go and do these things so lets work hard to do our part as a church whole. Think about your pastors most important part of his service to the Lord and church, feed the flock! Jesus told Peter feed my sheep! So pastors work harder to feed them, then to please them. Go when duty calls and stay when duty calls! Pray for your pastor and lighten his load. Because the burdens are heavy souls need to be saved and you need to be feed. Just a little food for thought.

Tired

Sick and tired of being sick and tired! I'm sick again! Seems like I start to feel better then hit again. Sin works in the same way. Your start doing good thinking your getting away from it, then SMACK! this is why we need to do our best to stay close to the Lord. He is the only one that can protect us from falling back in sin. Stay away from things that would cause you to fall.  If you don't know the Lord as your personal savior you can't do this. The reason being you have to trust Him and with out being saved you don't know how. All have sin and come short of the glory of God. We need Him!!! Ask him to help you trust Him, He will. Staying away from sin and those that may cause you to fall. (Easy preaching hard living!) Stay close to Jesus.

This is my first attempt at blogging. I hope you will find this blog a place where you can get some thoughts and maybe some help for this thing called life. In 1Thessalonians 5:25 the bible says Brethren for us. This is what we all need in this day and time. So I'm asking you to pray for me.
